Reginald Kruger is a Dutch artist who started out as an art director in the advertising industry. Since childhood, he has been drawing and painting to creatively put his own dream world on paper. This daydreaming and drawing is reflected in his imaginative artworks.
Reginald grew up in a family with 2 older sisters. Even within his advertising agency, he always worked with many female professionals and models. This background has contributed to Reginald looking at women and the different facets that make women so special in an honourable way. His portraits are therefore a tribute to women all over the world. Always from the perspective of elegance. His choice of materials includes transparent inks, acrylic, gold leaf and epoxy on aluminium. This creates the texture and play of light so recognisable to his artworks. |
His works of art are rich in the many different layers. And the combination of transparent inks/ airbrush on brushed aluminium even creates three-dimensional effects in light. On a screen, those special effects are difficult to see, for that you should admire the artworks with your own eyes.
"With my artworks I always try to create an eye jewel on the wall to enrich the space. On the one hand my artworks are very realistic. In contrast, other parts are quite abstract to give a calming effect, inspired by the shapes in nature. This makes my artworks the perfect piece to adorn your wall." You are always welcome to visit his studio/ Art Gallery in Elst, but his artworks can also be seen at various events, especially in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and other places around the world. |
